Another Day Off.

Mountaineers don't generally have a desire to become a great canoeist, but that seems to be a route I'm going. I have been spending my days off, neglecting responsibilities and being relatively tenacious about ignoring as many of my bonds to society as possible, with canoeing. South Louisiana, on the Gulf Coast may be a crummy, forsaken land of unimaginable flatness to the Mountaineer but to the Canoeist, it is a paradise of endless water. Canoe touring on the bayous and lakes is one of the best ways to experience the wilderness of our back yard as New Orleanieans, all you need is a boat or a good friend.
